Liquid Sunshine patch and Classic 70's Saw

benny@shadow.net

Patch 0 bank B [final version]

Liquid sunshine. If you are a Orb fan you will enjoy this patch, basically
you work with performance editor set #3 which is auto selected.

When playing this instrument tap the keys and make up some chords, now using
wheel #3 move it up to a and check out how the sounds start to delay.
around a little over the middle you get a real intresting sound.

Messing with Filter 1 Cut Off (knob #1) slowly move the cut off down,
a real low bass with a cool part of the high frequencys still getting by (EG)

Messing with the resonance (knob #2) will do even more intresting stuff

Messing with F1FcEGI (knob #3) is cool also if you put F1FcEGI down and
resonance is around 80% you begin to get a splashy/liquid sound.

Anyhow mess around with those PE knobs you can get some pretty cool trippy
sounds.

Patch 1 bank b Classic 70's Saw

This is a classic 1970's Progressive/new wave instrument. its not really
a "techno" sound PE knobs are good to adjust this instrument to your liking

the first 3 performance knobs really affect this sound.

NEW ADDITIONS August 27, 1996

1. Filterknob

this is a Acidy Leadsynth sound. Wheel 2 is the "Filterknob". Wheel 3 is the
Overdrive balance control. I am including a file called "fltrknob.mid" this
is a quick tune I made so you can get a Idea of a use for this instrument.

2. Superfly organ

this is a FM Bassy organ with a pseudoleslie, play around with wheel 2 and
you will get the idea. wheel 1 is the distortion control.

3. Bennys Minimoog

this is a "portawheel" Moog/Minimoog sound, if you listen to the "Rentals"
you will see where I am going.

4. SQ delay
this is a squarewave going through a delay, very mellow sound. I consider it
a softsynth sound

5. '74 Square [final version]
        Final version 1.00

That is it for my patches, Im still working on these patches since as I learn
I can improve on them and get them going.
