Reason 4.0 and subtractor/RPG-8

I have an USB Midi Keyboard UMX25
I use Reason 4.0

When i load op a mixer 14:2 a subtractor and a RPG-8.
i press record and hold down a chord on my keyboard and hold it till it reaches 9 its not recording it.

My UMX25 is connected with usb to usb cable.

PLEASE HELP I'm realy at a lost here.

Does the RPG-8 play when you hold down a chord when you are not recording? Does the Subtractor play when you hold down a chord when you are not recording? As you probably know you need to select the track that you want to play, i.o.w. rec enable it by selecting the track.
