Evolver PlugSE External Sync

Ik weet niet of dit in het software of synth forumonderdeel moet, maar aangezien het over een hardware synth gaat...

Ik heb de Soundtower Evolver PlugSE VST Editor, en ik vraag me af hoe je sync van de host (FL Studio) naar de Evolver kan sturen.

In de Cubase instructies staat:

Even if your MIDI interface is multi-client and it is connected to the Evolver it is still advisable to deactivate MIDI ports the Evolver is using in the host MIDI setup in order to avoid double MIDI messages being send or received. The PlugSE will handle all MIDI messaging and the connection between the Evolver MIDI and the host is not needed.

Also, Synchronization Setup should be checked if Cubase does not sent MIDI clock to our MIDISPORT 2x2 Port B:

Hoe kan ik dan host sync sturen? De editor heeft de optie om External Sync aan te zetten, maar dat lukt toch niet als die de output poort bezet houdt? En er staat zelfs dat je sync moet afzetten in Cubase (niet dat dat uitmaakt, want de poort moest toch gedeactiveerd worden).

Ik heb dat nu opgelost door 2 output ports (1 van de host, en 1 in de editor) via een midi merger naar de Evolver te sturen... maar dat kan toch niet de bedoeling zijn?

Iemand hier ervaring mee?
