Hey!

If you are interested to hear Yamaha SVC-elecric cello in action,
check out my homepage at:

http://www.eliaskahila.net

I´ve just released a cellorock-soloalbum, I´ve done
everything in it by myself. I used also traditional cello
on the album, and different pre-amp processors
for Yamaha cello.

Greetings,

Elias

GAAF !!!!!!!!

:stupid

Did you have the idea that Elias was going to take part in some synth related discussions? I had the feeling that his story was just to promote his CD...Correct me if I'm wrong Elias...8)
Anyway his CD sounds 'interesting' but not really a revalation to me....and I do like rock...

I just thought this would be that kind of place where people are interested in this kind of things. Actually I thought when posting that expecially this forum had discussion on any kind of instrumental hardware. So this place is synth-related ONLY? :)

Well, I used a Roland keyboard for recordings(in a homestudio, so the quality isn´t the greatest), but now as I have a band(6-members,two celloes, four bandinstruments),and our keyboardist has Korg Triton - it rocks! And I think it´s totally different than the soundclips sound. We are going to studio with the band later this year.

I don´t have any midi-modules in my electric cello(no space? :))but I´ve been using a pre-amp processor for making different sounds... I think when we go to real studio later this year, I record the celloes "clean" and then edit the sound with Pro Tools. Maybe same method could also be used with Korg?

....Well I´m sorry if I confused somebody, if this actually isn´t the right board to discuss these, but it wasn´t meaning.

Thanks for your comments,

Elias

ps. we are better than Apocalyptica ;)

Well if we look at the Electric Chello as a MIDI interface.....is it actually?
