A powerful and hands-on analog synthesizer built for deep sound design and exploration. The Cric combines a 24×32 pin matrix patching system. At its core are three SSI2131 oscillators using FSS’s “recombination method” for rich harmonic generation, paired with a versatile SSI2164-based 18dB multimode filter (LP/BP/HP) that can be blended and enhanced with wave folding. Four function generators expand the system further as envelopes, LFOs, or audio-rate sources.
Connectivity is equally flexible, with four DC-coupled I/O points (including a mic preamp on Input 1), 1V/Oct and gate control, sample & hold, and a dedicated headphone output. Built in a solid steel enclosure, it’s designed for both studio integration and long-term use.
