De Rekon VST editor voor mijn Waldorf Pulse werkt niet meer met Cubase 4. Met SX3 nog wel. Voor zover ik heb begrepen komt dat doordat iets met MIDI out in het algemeen niet meer werkt bij plugins < VST 3. Ik zie er niets over in de fix lijst...
jammer. Bij Rekon heb ik ook niet de indruk dat ze het gaan fixen, want die leggen het weer bij Steinberg neer.
Ik heb de reKon Virus editor en deze werkt wel met cubase 4.13.
(niet helemaal vlekkeloos overigens):
zo heb ik het ingesteld (van het cubase forum):

1.Open your 'VST Instruments' panel and then select the 'reKonT VST Series
Editor' VST
2.Create a 'MIDI' track. Select this MIDI track.
3.On the I/O properties panel for this MIDI track, assign the MIDI input to
the 'VST Series Editor'. Assign the MIDI output to go to the MIDI port (and
channel) that your hardware synth is on.
4.Create another 'MIDI track'. Select this track.
5.On the I/O properties panel for this MIDI track, assign the MIDI input to
your MIDI keyboard. Assign the MIDI output to go to the MIDI port (and
channel) that your hardware synth is on.
6.Activate the little yellow 'speaker' icons for both MIDI tracks (this
allows them to be played even if the track is not selected).
now it will work fine!
there's some other strange thing though, when you save a project with the
editor as vsti, the editor sends some midi data wich causes the virus to
stop playing (the virus wont play any sound!) BUT when you load the project
again and select the right sound on the virus, everything works fine.
