Ola!
Weer een 'nieuwe' modular module fabrikant. Dit maal in MOTM (Oakley) en Modcan (Cyndustries) formaat.
MegaOhm Audio.
Delta VCF
The Delta VCF is more than just a clone of the filter section from a vintage synth of the same name. All of the supporting circuitry has been changed and additional features were added. It also has a behind the panel normallization scheme which results in extremely powerful and interesting sounds.
The banana jack version does not have a normallized scheme due to the nature of banana jacks. The feedback loop will have to be patched in.
Controls:
* FREQ - sets the initial cutoff frequency
* RES - Resonance control
* Unlike the original, is capable of oscillation, though signal gets very large. Watch out! IN 1 - attenuator for input signal. Full CW = 1.5X gain
* FM 1 - bipolar attenuator for the signal patched to FM 1 jack
* FM 2 - attenuator for the signal at FM 2 jack
* LIN AC/EXP switch - routes the signal at FM 2 jack to the exponential CV summer (EXP) or to the Linear modulation input (LIN AC).
* BP/LP switch - VCF response switch
* VCA Gain - sets the initial level of the VCA
* VCA CV - attenuator for the signal patched to VCA CV jack
Inputs and Outputs:
5U format has a normallization scheme.
* 1V/OCT - approximate tracking only (not a VCO substitute)
* VCA IN - VCA input
* VCA OUT - connected to FM 2 input jack
* This creates a feedback loop whose level is controllable with a modulation source patched to VCA CV jack (i.e.: envelope, LFO, etc.) and the FM 2 attenuator. Depending on pot and switch settings, this feedback path can introduce subtle variations in cutoff frequency, pitch shifts, and even degenerate into noise. Experimentation is the key. FM 1 - CV input for control of cutoff frequency
* FM 2 - CV input for control of cutoff frequency
* IN 1 - VCF input for audio
* OUT - main VCF output. normalled to VCA IN
Includes:
* Delta VCF module
* rack screws
* Power cable
Options:
These options are at an additional cost.
Other customizations and requests are welcome.
* sealed Bourns or Spectrol pots (2U x 5U format only)
* alternative panel colors
* alternative knob colors (Modcan format only)
* ink in-filled engraving
