Korg PC/IF Driver voor Win2k

Ik wil mijn Korg 05R/W graag aansluiten via de seriële poort van mijn PC.

Nu heb ik de driver voor Windows 2000 gedownload en geinstalleerd, maar zo gauw ik de 05R/W inschakel, loopt de PC volledig vast. Zet ik hem uit, doet-ie het weer.

Heeft iemand hier een oplossing voor?

Hey. Ik heb een Korg N5EX & Windows XP... en hetzelfde probleem.

Ik heb (inmiddels een maand geleden!) Korg UK gemaild over dit probleem, na me volledig de pokken te zoeken op internet.
Maar tot noch toe geen antwoord van ze ontvangen

I have a question about the combination Korg N5EX to Windows XP via a PC/IF
cable.

My computer (laptop) locks up as soon as I have my N5EX turned on, hooked up
with the PC/IF cable and when I start (for example) the N1/N5 Sound editor.
When I pull the cable out of my serial port, everything starts functioning as normal again.

I have found situations similar to my problem on several websites. For example this one:

There I read about an extra (obsolete?) pin on the connectors of the cable,
which probably causes the lockup. But I checked that, and that's fine.

Maybe for your information:
The settings in the Global mode of my N5-EX are
BPS: 38,4
CLKSRC: PCIF
CH: 01
Bankmap: Default
PCIF-port: Native


At the moment I have no ideas anymore why Windows XP stops functioning when
activating the Korg driver..
Could you please help me with this?
