Enemy Earth - Interstellar Commute LP (EAT011).

cat no: EAT011
artist: Enemy Earth
title: Interstellar Commute
format: LP, Vinyl & Digital
available: Now

About this record:

The Interstellar Commute LP sweeps you off into a dense but comfortable landscape of organic productions and clever sample based compositions. The beattape vibe is very apt to the collage of flavors; Enemy Earth produces a musical kaleidoscope of moods with some edgy sound layering, samples and beatwork. Avrey Muela takes care of the psychede-licks on guitar. Owen Biddle (The Roots) features on bass.

Compositions like ‘Toaster’ bring disturbingly vivid film noir scenery to mind, while the sultry ‘Slop’ and ‘Moto Sh*t’ suck you right into the ”Eastern sounds”. Swinging moods from deeply psychedelic to spiritual eclectic, this full length EP characterizes Enemy Earth’s future roots sound : authentic, timeless and classic. ‘Interstellar Commute’ is a crafty, stellar body of music and the kind of record that truly travels. There are no boundaries, only in your imagination.

The vinyl edition for 'Interstellar Commute' comes in a highly limited edition, in stenciled sleeves featuring artwork by Niv Bavarsky.

Interstellar Commute is available on vinyl now via Rush Hour, direct order or in the regular shops.

Digital formats available from iTunes, Emusic, Juno and more here.

“Haunting, hallowed and heavily essential!” — Shook Magazine

“If ever an album title summed up its musical contents ‘Interstellar Commute’ is it.” — Global Souljah - BBE Records

“…I must say they completely got me into space.” — Lefto

” Top of the pops in this case might well be “Motto sh*t,” which oozes such delicious beat snap it might have come straight from the Dilla factory, though the tripped-out dreaminess of “Sword art” comes close to matching it.” — Textura Magazine

“Hey man, remember that time when we were trekking up in the Himalayas during the 60s and we ended up hitching a ride on the Yellow Submarine to that other galaxy?…” — Chrome Kids
