Hello ************,
you need to distinguish between the several things that happen on your
computer. First of all the only product in Komplete 5 that supports multiple
CPU cores is Kontakt 3. All other products run on one CPU core. The reason for
this is that everything needs to happen in realtime when using our products in
standalone mode. Sequencers take advantage of a hybrid mode that allows to add
extra buffer for tracks that are not record enabled. This extra buffer is
necessary to sync the audio threads that are running on different CPU cores.
The observation you have made in the user interfaces of our products is
correct. As they run on one CPU core only, they'll display the consumption
they cause on this one core. This cannot be changed. Regarding the dropouts
you get with your audio interface: This has basically to do with the driver of
your audio interface and how it handles audio at higher CPU consumption and
it's also decisive how your computer handles the hardware resources of your
computer (having in mind that you use a USB audio interface you should take a
look at your device manager concerning IRQ sharing). You definitely will get
different result when using different audio interfaces (especially if they're
connected via PCI instead e.g.).
