Roland Juno 60 - Reparateur of advies gevraagd

Beste mensen,

ik heb reeds een Roland Juno 60 aangeschaft. Nou resten mij 2 vragen.

1.De gehele Bank 4 doet het niet, kan dit aan de batterij liggen en is het aan te raden deze zelf te vervangen? Of kent iemand die bekend is met de juno 60 mbt reparatie.

2.Daarnaast wat is het verschil tussen bank A & bank B en kun je de patches ook via de computer inladen i.p.v. cassette

The memory back-up battery is located under the top control panel of the Juno-60. The battery type is a CR-1/3N Lithium battery. To access the battery, FIRST UNPLUG THE JUNO POWER CHORD FROM THE WALL:

1. Remove the two phillips head screws located on the left and right side panels, one on each side. Once the screws are removed this will allow the control panel to rotate open, pivoting at the back edges of the panel. Lift the panel where the piano keys meet the panel.
2. The original battery is located on the right side of the main circuit board and has metal tabs spot-welded onto each end of the battery terminal buttons. The other end of the metal tabs are soldered into the circuit board. Make note of the battery polarity orientation before attempting to remove.
3. Using a 30-40 watt pencil soldering iron, heat each tab near the circuit board. As the solder melts, wiggle the tab while lifting away from the circuit board until the end if free.

I have found it difficult to find CR-1/3N Lithium batteries with spot welded solder tabs and have several alternative suggestions. Although it is possible to find CR-1/3N batteries without the tabs, one could snip the ends of any 1/2 watt resistor and solder the ends onto the battery buttons, but it is a bit tricky. If too much heat is used the battery can be damaged. A better alternative is to use a computer CMOS style 3V Lithium button battery and purchase a circuit board mounted button battery holder where the original battery terminals were located (these are usually available at Radio Shack).

Kun je als je beetje handig bent wel zelf. Ik heb het ook wel eens gedaan bij een Juno 60.

Je kunt de patches alleen via de tape ingangen laden. Je kan dat doen met cassette, maar ook als wav file vanuit een PC of sampler.

Verschijnt het cijfer wel in het display maar zijn alle presets stil? Als je een preset kiest en dan er mee gaat sleutelen zodat je wel geluid krijgt, kun je 'm dan opslaan en weer terugroepen? Batterij is altijd een optie; het ding is al oud .

Presets inladen gaat via de computer ook, alleen moet je voor voldoende volume zorgen op de uitgang. Je opent gewoon een .wav bestand zoals op de Synthmania site staat en speelt het af met wat dan ook, zolang het volume hoog genoeg is. Je zult misschien een paar keer moeten proberen om het aan de gang te krijgen.

Hier zat ik ook al aan te denken brand een een lampje bij de dco-waveforms als een patch uit bank 4 kiest?


En over die banken, Bank A en Bank B zullen wel beide kanten van het cassettebandje zijn
De juno60 heeft namelijk 7 banken met 8 sounds ieder.
Stiekem zelfs 9 banken

nee er verschijnt niets in de display, alle andere banks doen het goed. Als ik op 4 druk gebeurt er niets.

Batterij gemeten, lijkt nog goed te zijn.

Iemand bekend met een goede reparateur?
