Nord Piano Library v5 voor NE3

Uit de omschrijving op de site van Clavia over de verschillende bestandsformaten van de Grand en Upright piano's trok ik de conclusie dat voor NE3 gebruikers de 'small' versies het best waren; immers, er zit geen String resonance functie op de NE3. In de beschrijving op de site wordt (nu: werd) het verschil in grootte alleen toegewezen aan de mate van aanwezigheid van de string functionality.
Als je bestandgroottes (en omschrijvingen) tussen v4 en v5 piano's vergelijkt, krijg je toch het idee dat je wat over het hoofd ziet als je uitsluitend de 'small' versies in de Electro 3 zet.
Gisteren gemaild met Tomas Johansson van Clavia, die er het volgende over zegt:

Here is the deal on this:

Electro 3 and Stage Classic users can decide if they need the "pedal
down samples", by choosing Sml, Med or Lrg. They will not sound the
same. The Sml version has none of the pedal down samples, the medium
has them in the "middle section" of the keyboard. and the large has
these across the entire range.

Hit a key and hold it down and listen to the decay. Press the sustain
pedal, hit the same key and you'll hear the "acoustic space" that the
pedal down samples creates.

The previous v4 sounds had these pedal-down samples in the middle
range (except for the XL versions, full range).

I'd go for the Med size unless you find these pedal down samples
muddying up the sound for you...

zou het ontbreken van die string resonance functie op de Electro 3 nou alleen een marketingtechnisch ding zijn, of moet er echt een hardwarematige aanpassing gedaan worden..?
ach, wat maakt het ook uit. ik ben sowieso superblij met de manier waarop Clavia haar klanten voorziet van vette sounds
