Nein man, Der Giorgio ist nun Municher disco from Germany.

PARDON!?!?! Giorgio Moroder is een Italiaan, die zich reeds lang geleden in Amerika heeft gevestigd. Een absolute pionier op het gebied van ratelende disco-sequencers (Donna Summer bijv.)

Maar Giorgio woonde lange tijd in München (hij heeft toen met bijvoorbeeld Munich Machine gewerkt). Donna Summer was niet alleen Moroder (hoewel het bekenste nummer 'I Feel Love' wel door hem werd geproduceerd), maar o.a. ook Harald Faltermeyer (inderdaad, die van Axel F) die ook met Moroder aan Moroder's solo plaat E=MC2 heeft gewerkt.

Ik heb de vrijheid genomen om wat mp3's te uploaden van dingen die zich geregeld in mijn platentas begeven. Geen Fun Fun of Tarzan Boy, maar dingen die mij ter gedachte komen als we het over Italo hebben.
