Ik heb een MSY2 die geen sync uitstuurt, heeft iemand hier ervaring mee?
Ik gebruik ableton live 8

Ik schreef het volgende aan doepfer:

En hij mailde me dit terug:

'the MSY2 converts Midi clock, start and stop into the corrensponding analog
signals, i.e. your units have to transmit these Midi messages. If this
applies the LEDs of the MSY2 (clock and start/stop) will react accordingly.
If this does not happen the required Midi messages are not transmitted by
your unit. Please refer to the user's manual of your units (ableton live,
M-Audio midisport uno, mac) how to generate these messages. Maybe our
software department (software@doepfer.de) is able to point you into the
right direction how ableton live has to be configured to send these Midi
data.'

In Ableton settings, bij Midi kijken. Dan bij de juist midi out port 'sync' aanzetten.

Bedankt, ik hoop dat het zo simpel gaat zijn. Ik ging ervan uit dat die signalen automatisch verstuurd worden.

Ik heb geen Ableton maar bij mij werken de MSY2 en M-Audio midisport uno prima samen.

Gewoon in Ableton het midiklok signaal aan zetten.

Bedankt, ik hoop dat het zo simpel gaat zijn. Ik ging ervan uit dat die signalen automatisch verstuurd worden.

Dat wordt nooit automatisch verstuurd omdat het de algemene midi timing vertraagd. Dat wil zeggen....midi clock neemt veel ruimte in tijdens het versturen van die data. Als je over die zelfde port ook nog midi noten en controllers verstuurd kan het een beetje druk worden. Daarom staat het standaard uit.

Ik heb zelf nogal wat problemen gehad met de midiclock van Ableton en volgens mij vele met mij.
Wat bij mij wel werkte was om Ableton slave mee te laten lopen met een goed midiclock signaal.
Ik hoop dat bij jou de midiclock wel werkt, succes alvast.
