KORG TRITON EXB-DI

Beste forumlezers,

Vandaag heb ik mijn Korg Triton Rack voorzien van een EXB-DI (Digital Interface Board). Op de verpakking van deze uitbreiding staat beloofd, dat je via adat tot 8 kanalen kunt uitsturen. Het lukt me echter niet om dat voor elkaar te krijgen. De uitgangen zijn nu weliswaar digitaal en via adat, maar het aantal uitgangen blijft 1/2 1,2,3 of 4.
Is er iemand die hier ervaring in heeft en weet hoe je de triton via de EXB-DI kunt omtoveren tot een machine met 8 separate uitgangen? of is de belofte op de verpakking wellicht te mooi?

hmmm. ik ben bang dat ik het ietwat teleurstellende antwoord zojuist in de handleiding van de triton rack heb gevonden.

DIGITAL (separately sold EXB-DI option)
OUT jack
This is an ADAT optical format digital output connector.
It outputs the six channels of the TRITON-Rack’s
AUDIO OUTPUT jacks (MAIN) L/MONO, R,
(INDIVIDUAL) 1, 2, 3, 4 (analog audio outputs) as
digital audio with a sampling rate of 48 kHz.
These signals are output as channels 1 through 6 of
the ADAT optical format.
By connecting this to the DIGITAL IN jack of an
ADAT Optical format compatible mixer, amp, or
recorder etc., you can send the audio signal output
of the TRITON-Rack in digital form to an external
mixer, amp, or recorder etc. Use an optical cable
made by the Alesis Corporation or an optical cable
for CD/DAT (both sold separately) to make this
connection (_p.14, PG p.243, p.273).
The [OUTPUT] knob does not adjust the output
level of this connector.

Bij de oasys is hij wel 8 kanaals dus het klopt wel alleen niet voor jouw synth helaas...
