Een dimension beam van interactive light

is eigenlijk een d-beam die roland gebruikt maar dan als stand alone en volledig te programmeren. eigenlijk zou ik m zelf weer moeten gaan gebruiken maar mn setup moet krimpen.
Het verhaal achter de d-beam is dat roland de patenten heeft overgekocht van interactive light.

This thing is the most interesting unit to come out is some time - too bad it was just a limited run and they stopped making them. The Dimension Beam sends out a very hi-res beam of infrared light in an egg shape that can translate any motion into a MIDI expression signal. It is great to obtain another control when your feet and hands are busy. For guitar, just move your headstock through the field. For keyboards move your head. You can send continuous control info (for any parameter like vibrato depth), pitchbend, or trigger effects processors. You can have it control digital samples, lights, or have it play a custom scale of notes on a synth as you move your hand through the field. This thing is much better than than the technology appropriated for some Roland keyboards. It is made out of very heavy duty metal, has an LCD display, and you can program your own patches. I even have the manual, original power supply, very sturdy metal stand, bracket (for attaching to microphone poles or drum sets), reflective strips (to make tracking in the dark easier - put on the back of your headstock if you want), and a control pedal which can be used for additional control. Trust me, this is rare!
