(on one 823 there's a mod with a extra frequency on the selection peak (150hz see white dot on the on the picture and also on dip 150 hz)
I bought the 822 and one 823 (with the extra freq mods) from Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode, Yazoo en Erasure) in 2007 thru Ebay.

This is a used EAR 822Q mono equaliser based on a Pultec-style circuit.
EAR have become synonymous with incredible high-end audio equipment over the last 30 years. Surely one of their most popular units, the EAR 822Q and the EAR 823 MQ is a stunning hand-built valve equaliser, that uses Pultec-style circuitry and frequency bands.
The equalizers are in excellent condition having been kept in a well-maintained professional recording studio, and it sounds incredible.
