natuurlijk wel, het interesseert niemand gewoon een ruk.
het artikel zegt ook helemaal niks behalve het feit dat de 2 bedrijven samengaan.
ik hoop niet dat ze van die cheap-ass focusrite baggercompressors in de novations gaan stoppen...

Ik heb het ook met verbazing gelezen, maar ben vooral benieuwd of ze de naam Novation blijven gebruiken... ik vermoed zowiezo dat we van Novation geen hardware synths meer moeten verwachten (misschien hooguit wat geintegreerde modellen met USB audio interface, zoals ze pas uitgebracht hebben). Maar ben benieuwd...

het zegt nog niet zoveel,zoals het artikel al zegt,zaten beide fabrikanten al in dezelfde plaats.....maar voor Novation lijkt het me een stapje vooruit....of misschien dat Focusrite nog concurerender kan gaan werken met hun prijzen...
of misschien toch een Drumstation met ingebouwde Compounder ?

die over de kwaliteit van focusrite niet...
ik ben niet erg te spreken over de focusrite compressors. de compounder is wel okee (gezien de prijs) maar de ingebouwde compressors die ze destijds in die protools mixingdesk hebben gestopt (control 24?) waren echt kakkend slecht.
dus de compressorinbouwcapaciteiten van focusrite heb ik niet in hoog aanzien staan.

Focusrite Audio Engineering Ltd. announces that it has acquired the business of Novation Electronic Music systems Ltd. The two businesses are both located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Focusrite is the leading UK brand of recording peripherals including microphone preamplifiers, channel strips, equalisers and dynamics processors, whilst Novation is the leading UK brand of hardware and software synthesisers and controller keyboards. Novation's Managing Director Ian Jannaway and Technical Director Chris Huggett are to continue with Focusrite's new subsidiary, Novation Digital Music Systems Ltd., to lead the brand's growth and development.
Phil Dudderidge, Chairman of Focusrite comments: "We have admired the Novation brand for some time and have developed a great rapport with Ian and Chris. We are delighted to have the opportunity to give our backing to the brand and to bring our business skills to the Novation business, which will grow from strength to strength.
