Hi all,
I'm Vitaliy, founder of Arvital Audio in Zagreb. We make audio software, not music: mostly AudioRoute, which records system audio straight onto a DAW track without an aggregate device or a second machine.
I joined because someone here posted a problem with it. I want to answer that myself instead of leaving him to work around it, and a forum where people describe what actually went wrong is more useful to us than any amount of internal testing. Most of what we fix comes from reports like that.
Gear-wise it is a Mac, a pair of monitors and far too many virtual instruments I do not have time to learn properly. I have been writing audio software for years and still find CoreAudio surprising on a weekly basis.
Happy to be here, and I will stay out of the way unless I can be useful.
