optigan samples voor live optreden

Beste mensen, ik ben een paar weken met mijn band

de studio in gedoken om ons 2e album op te nemen in de studio " next to jaap" in Voorhout.

Door een groter gebruik van samples en obscure effecten moeten we onze live-act qua materiaal bijstellen. De bliepjes en kraakjes kan ik wel regelen, maar we hebben tevens gebruik gemaakt van een stokoud Optigan orgeltje

Ik ben helemaal verliefd op dit geluid geworden (met gekraak van de aandrijfmotor ) de vraag blijft nu hoe we dit live voor elkaar gaan krijgen. onze toetsenist heeft een roland D-50 en een RD 150.

Ik dacht aan een degelijke sampler met optigan samples, wie weet hoe ik dit het beste aan kan pakken en welke samples en samplers hier het best geschikt voor zijn

Voor een sampler maakt het niet echt uit ... wat je erin steekt reproduceert ie. Gewoon een kwestie van kijken hoe de gebruikersinterface eruit ziet en zien of ie binnen je budget valt. Er staan op dit moment een aantal erg interessante dingen te koop (Roland S550, Akai S1000, ...) ... allemaal geschikt voor deze job. Alleen is de vraag waar je Optigan samples vandaan moet halen, natuurlijk. Maar vermits je die zelf hebt staan, zou ik rechtstreeks van de Optigan sampelen.

de optigan is helaas niet van mij en staat dus in die studio, ervan samplen zal niet echt lukken aangezien we de live-set voor de 2e keer studio tijd al neer moeten zetten. Bovendien woon ik in Groningen en de studio is in Voorhout (4 uur met de trein )

Included on the CD-ROM are all of the chord loop sets for all of the Optigan and Talentmaker discs, and all of the keyboard scales for the Optigan, Orchestron and Talentmaker. Note that, since it's impossible to implement the unique playback characteristics of a real Optigan/Talentmaker on any sampler we're aware of, these programs are not set up to actually emulate the real-time performance experience of the original instruments. Rather, the chord loops and keyboard scales are set up in separate programs, which provide everything you need to re-create the classic sound of these instruments in a recording environment. Of course, the sample sets can be used in a live performance situation, it's just that they can't act exactly like a real Optigan/Talentmaker would. Also included are detailed liner notes outlining a brief history of the instruments, technical notes on the samples themselves, and performance tips.

Het hangt er natuurlijk ook vanaf welke disks van Optigan je hebt. De Optigan in het Gemeentemuseum moet eigenlijk gereviseerd worden, want de aandrijfsnaren zijn niet best meer. Maar we hebben wel een groot aantal disks. Misschien is er iets te regelen?
