Concept
With the title 'Aero', the concert will have energy and environment as the central theme. "The wind is playing the lead part, not only as energy, but also as carrier of sounds, images, messages & dreams. The wind carries birds, pollen - but also smoke & pollution, the wind brings us in contact with all the worst & all the best - the choice is ours", according to Jean Michel.
The scenography of the Aero concert should be radically different from Jean Michel Jarre's previous concerts and forms a big challenge for Jean Michel and his engineers as a concert in a field of windmills is very hard to set up.
Music
Sixteen tracks will be played, including classic Jarre tracks and some new tracks.
Square Prod, the multimedia company that was involved previously in the creation of Jean Michel's Metamorphoses album and the Twelve Dreams of the Sun millennium and Rendez-Vous 2001 Okinawa concerts, is assisting Jean Michel in creating the sound universe of Aero. The Square Prod team has recorded several sound environments, including noises of wind, wind mills and pale rotary printing-presses, which Jean Michel incorporated into the soundtrack of which the Aero concert consists. Square Prod is also assisting on the sound mastering process, ensuring each song that will be played during the concert will be played out at the same power levels.
Musicians on stage
Just like recently at the Audio Brunch in Bourges, Jean Michel Jarre and Francis Rimbert will perform on stage. They will be joined by Danish band Safri Duo. Jean Michel intends to compose some new tracks together with Safri Duo.

Live web-, TV- & radio broadcasts
The concert will be broadcast live on the internet (via the site of TV2).
Live radio broadcasts by the Danish Broadcast Corporation, program 3, Radio Rock FM in Slovakia between 9 and 11pm CET. An audio feed will also be available on the network of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The EBU network can be accessed only by European stations, who are invited to relay the feed to their listeners.
Radio FG in France will broadcast the concert on Monday September 9 at 23:00 Paris time.
Highlights of the concert to be broadcast on TV2 on September 14. Full concert to be broadcast on TV2 Zulu on September 16. TV2 will also distribute the concert TV recording on the international TV market.
