Jean Michel is rehearsing a lot. From 11:00 until 14:00 and from 15:00 until 21:00 rehearsals were held non-stop, with lots of songs being played.
Francis Rimbert is of course on stage together with Jean Michel and is playing a lot of instruments including some drums! JMJ is also playing a kind of ELECTRONIC saxophone during the intro for Oxygene 2
For Millions of Stars, a new ALIEN vocoder voice is used, also for all of his speeches :-)
The girls choir is BEAUTIFUL, they have angel like voices, that almost make people cry.
Yesterday, rehearals were stopped by a storm and some heavy rain. The field was a bit wet and muddy today but is almost dry by now.
The BIG screen that has been built on the back of the stage is really nice. Two little round screens are on the field , for small projections.
Projection designer Marie Jeanne Gauthier told us all projections will be the same as used in Athens last year, except for one or two new ones.
The sound is pure, powerfull and mega great, it makes your heart try to go out of the chest , really! All that is done by Bruno Mylonas, really good job and he says he will still make it better.
The big windmills are all lit up in different colors at night with powerfull lights.
The set of synthesizers is in a semi circle, all put on top of about 20-25 TV screens.
At the backstage there are bigger TV screens, and Thomas Alsina will use them to broadcast computer generated images like in Athens.
