PITCHED OUT, Zondag 26 Maart 2006, Studio 80, Amsterdam

De manifestatie van een entiteit uit één van de vele feestelijke dimensies, waarin
Centipede Productions zich begeeft. 'Pitched Out' bestrijkt een breed geluidsoppervlak
met een dikke laag Psychedelic Trance - een muziekstroming, die het best valt te
benoemen als de opvolger van Goatrance op de evolutionaire toonladder.

Centipede organiseerde eerder twee edities van ‘Prog as a Frog’ in Pakhuis Wilhelmina
en Zondag 19 Maart vond de eerste aflevering van 'Pitch Down' plaats in Club Magazijn.
Daar wijst de muzikale invulling voornamelijk richting de meer Progressive regionen;
bij 'Pitched Out' ontvouwt zich een wijder spectrum Psychedelic Trance en worden
escapades naar bijvoorbeeld Breaks, Drum-n-Bass en Electro niet geschuwd.

Zo zal duidelijk klinken tijdens live act N4SK4, wiens beats zich een weg banen
langs een velerlei aan ritmes, die tijdens de reis vele stijlgrenzen overschrijden.
Op Dance Valley 2004 en onlangs nog in The Force zette hij de vloer in vlam en
zal Zondag zeker zijn digitale pepermolen wederom op volle toeren laten draaien.
Kotaro en Toshiya the Tribal, twee veteranen uit het land van de rijzende Zon, tappen
voor hun beider sets uit een diepe bron. In Japan zijn zij sinds begin jaren '90 actief
betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van zowel Techno als Goatrance, en werkten samen
met bijvoorbeeld Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Ree-K en MASA van de Tokyo Techno Tribe
- meer achtergronden zijn onder meer te vinden op www.techno.to online.
DJs Bluestorm, Dogo, Mars en Satyr houden gedurende de avond de stijgende lijn
in de gaten, en het spits wordt afgebeten door Dr.Vinni, die de première van de
Track Try Out voor zijn rekening neemt. Gedurende de eerste twee uur zal hij
onuitgebracht materiaal en promos draaien van nieuwe producers.
Wees er dus vroeg bij om van al het aanstormende talent te kunnen genieten.

Naast alle bovenstaanden staat er een workshop muziek productie op het programma.
Aan het begin van de avond verstrekt producer / dj Paul Elfferich praktische kennis en
tips voor het gebruik van Cubase SX3 bij het digitaal produceren van muziek.
Tezelfdertijd wordt er een culinair intermezzo verzorgd door Pow Pow

Het visueel van het geheel wordt kleurrijk ingevuld met blacklight decoratie van D-Core
en analoge projekties van het inktdruppelbroederschap Rorschach & Rorschach.
