I have been playing with some patterns on my yamaha rs7000 and recorded it live... You can say these 19 minutes are a sort of testcase for me people like these kinda gigs live on stage... So please listen and gimme an opinion ... expect a machine getting crazy for sure ... Enjoy the trip !

Hi,

I think you could perfectly use this for live gigs. I do recognize de Rs7000 sounds a lot and it might be an idea to use some more samples instead of the internal roms. Aspecially the bassdrums are a bit thin, but could ne on purpose.

Im not too charmed about the pitching effect but that could well be me. I just don't like that kind of fx in songs.

Your using the Rs7000's capability for realtime editting a lot and i like that. Knobtwisting is what makes a song alive and your not missing any chance to do so.

As i said, i can hear it's a Rs7000 being used. If you want to avoid this try and use the more transparent sound it has on board. Or use it together with other gear to make it stand out less.

Bedankt voor je reply.. Ik heb express enkel rs sounds gebruikt en geen samples.. Gewoon kaal en rammen met die bak... Dat is iig mijn opzet geweest tijdens het opnemen. Ik heb zo`n vermoeden dat mensen die zoiets live meemaken wel uit hun plaat kunnen gaan. Niet te moeilijk, gewoon lekker beuken en smerige sounds eruittoveren. Alles live en realtime... Zodat iedere set weer een verrassing is, ook voor mezelf

Dat is absoluut de leukste manier om een liveset te geven. Voor zowel publiek als artiest........en de Rs7000 is daar perfect voor vind ikzelf!
