Het ondersteunt 32-bit en native 64-bit applicaties, multi-processor en multi-threading. Verder heeft de hardware dongle plaats gemaakt voor veel nieuwe features.

This limited-time upgrade offer will apply to all existing versions of Proteus X, Proteus X2, Emulator X, and Emulator X2. (Proteus X LE and Proteus VX not included.) De upgrade-prijs van EmuX naar EmuX3 is hetzelfde als van EmuX2 naar EmuX3. De mensen die niet de 80 euro voor de X naar X2 upgrade betaald hebben (zoals ik) zijn nu dus goedkoper uit. Dat bedoelde ik.

op een oudere mac , zeer moeizame procedure,

" got a breakthrough, with a lot of terminal bashing, eventually i could run the installer in wine without ISSKINU.DLL <UTF- error, start the X3.exe but then needed to install OBCD 32 bit DATABASE ACCESS drivers, also not sure, sound is coming through, first the database drivers, ...my procedure: macports wine install, then winetricks, ... check chatgpt https://chatgpt.com/share/6804d92f-8af0-8008-b4db-5603ed44f73d "

op een moderne sillicon mac, of eigenlijk een mac met hogere OS of gelijk aan OS X 10.15 Catalina, blijkbaar vlotter via homebrew & terminal commands

=> conclusion: yes it works in my macbook pro os X 10.13.6 : MIDI works & AUDIO works, cool !!!

thnx to arcologies for bringing the X3 back to the full deserved attention post-dato after 20 years ... het werkt, zowel midi als audio via simpele audio interface ... moest zelfs geen windows audio driver installeren, in WINE pakt hij zowel midi als audio van mac over ...
echt lekker ! ! ! !!!

Top dat het op een MAC ook werkt! Enig punt is dat je nog steeds de registratie even moet 'regelen'. Want de server die dit afhandelde bestaat niet meer.
