Vermona DRM1 Mk2 kapot?

Mijn Vermona DRM1 Mk2 lijkt te zijn overleden... Ik heb onderstaand bericht al naar Vermona gestuurd, maar wellicht dat er iemand een idee heeft?

Hallo Thomas,

I have a problem with my Vermona DRM1 Mk2.

I'm writing directly to you in the hope that you can advice me what steps to take to get my DRM fixed.

Without warning or discernable cause, my DRM isn't working anymore. I powered up my studio tonite and I noticed a dead link in my midi chain. It seemed the DRM wasn't on. So I checked, but I had switched it on.

I unplugged it and pulled out the fuse, to see if maybe the fuse was blown. The tube was clear and the iron rod was intact. I replaced the fuse anyway, just to be on the safe side, but nothing changed, the DRM still won't switch on. There are no lights, no sound, no indication that it is getting power.

I replaced the power cord, I tried using a different outlet, but nothing works. Since there appears to be no way to open the box itself to have a look inside, I'm wondering what your advice for me is?

I was planning to use the DRM for a live show I have coming up on March 22, but I'm pessimistic about the situation.

Hope you can point me in the right direction.

Hello Marcus,

sorry for the problem.
I talked to our technician. There are also a couple of fuses inside the DRM1
MK2. But if they blow up there might be a damage, so even if you would
replace them it is very likely, that they will be blown up again.
It would be the best if you could send us the DRM1 MK2 as fast as possible.
We could try to get it back to you before Friday, but I'm not sure if thats
possible.
Alternatviely I would offer you to send you our demo DRM1 MK2 for the show.
But for that I would at least need the confirmation, that you sent yours
back to us - I hope you understand that.

Dus ik ga em opsturen... Heb er bij gezegd dat als ze nog een mark 3 hebben liggen dat ik dat ook niet erg vind!

Heb het vervangend toestel op tijd gekregen, leuke set mee gedaan, die van mij is (kostenloos) gemaakt en komende week gaan we hem weer omruil-posten!
