IK vondt een POOR MANS synthie aks
volgens de verkoper
verwacht er niet te veel van bieden begint bij 80 $
misschien toch wel een leuk app.
see pict.
General Info & Features: Just when you thought you knew about every cool secret weapon... Heres a fun little toy synth for the electronic musician or sound synthesist! This small, portable Remco Sound FX Machine was probably made in the late 70s or early 80s. Designed as a kids toy, it has become a sought after, collectable noisemaker! This is a really cool find and not a very common one at that. Basically, its an electronic sound effects box with lots of controls like an old analog synthesizer. I have actually gotten it to sound quite good and consider it the poor mans EMS Synthi AKS! (well, ok, Synthi 'A') It is great for drones, noises, blips, shrieks, crackles and LFO oscillator modulations. Did I mention the sirens, bird tweets and wonderful explosions? Best of all, you can take it anywhere as it runs off a standard 9 volt battery and has a built in speaker. Features:
Mixers a, b and c (on off switches)
one shot
on/off
activator
short/long knob
fade out
short/long knob
x2 on/off
speed (modulating oscillator - hi freq to low freq LFO)
range switch (coarse frequency)
fast-slow knob (finer freq control)
Sound (tone controlled noise, Low pass filter effect)
Tone (oscillator pitch)
hi-lo knob
range switch
on/off switch
internal speaker
lightweight and portable
9 volt battery operated
Trust me on this one, this is a lot of fun and something which anyone fond of electronic noises should appreciate.
Condition & Details: This item is in good shape. If you look at the photo below, you will see that the black remco label has been cut to the right of the "FX" part where it would have said "Machine". Also, the plastic around one of the "handles" is cracked and pushed in a little (see right handle bottom). This should be an easy repair - I would have done it myself with some Crazy Glue, but didnt want to have to take another set of photos. Everything works as it should but, as with most of these, the pot response can be a little rough. This might get better with use or cleaning. The Synthi AKS in the photo is not part of this auction, but might be available soon, email me if you want to know if this happens. Thanks for reading.
