Midicontroller (bijv. bcr 2000) programmeren.

Hallo allen,

Ik heb van de week een Airbase gekocht en wil in de toekomst ook nog wel een Matrix1000..

Nu wil ik een midicontroller als bijvoorbeeld een bcr2000 oid voor deze synths aan gaan schaffen.

Kan ik deze programmeren zonder dat daar een pc aan te pas komt?
Heb namelijk een Atari in mijn set-up en heb geen midi op mijn pc.
Of kan ik zo'n controller via usb programmeren? als t wel via de pc moet?

Of kan het ook via de learn functie alleen, ook al hebben de airbase en matrix zelf geen knoppen om m iets te learnen

Je kan in pricipe alles programmeren met alleen de behringer cc nrpn etc.
Edit knop indrukken en dan aan de controller draaien.
check ff de manuel.
Ik controlleer mijn airbase met de bcr helemaal

NRPN stands for "Non-Registered Parameter Number" and is part of the MIDI specification for control of electronic musical instruments. NRPNs allow for manufacturer-specific or instrument-specific MIDI controllers that are not part of the basic MIDI standard.

Unlike other MIDI controllers (such as velocity, modulation, volume, etc), NRPNs require more than one piece of controller data to be sent. First, controller 99 - NRPN Most Significant Bit (MSB) - followed by 98 - NRPN Least Significant Bit (LSB) sent as a pair specify the parameter to be changed. Controller 6 then sets the value of the parameter in question. Controller 38 may optionally then be sent as a fine adjustment to the value set by controller 6.

This fine adjustment is part of the conventional MIDI controller specification, where any of the first 32 controls can be optionally paired with a control offset 32 higher. This is the rare 14-bit Continuous Controller feature of the MIDI specification, and NRPNs simply take advantage of that existing option in the same way to offer 16,384 possible values instead of only 128.

NRPNs allow for MIDI control of a vastly greater number of parameters than the basic 121 set out in the basic MIDI standard.

Hoe sluit je zoiets aan... heeft ie 2 midi ingangen zodat je tijdens editten via de bcr gewoon met je masterkeyboard kan triggeren?

tja, ik kan dat zo niet direct voor je invullen,,

da's een beetje aan de werking van midi bekabeling aan uit kunnen..

Midi IN/OUT/THRU - Midi merger - Midi thru box - midi patchbay ??

RPN of NRPN heb je volgens de Airbase-manual niet nodig, alles gaat met enkelvoudige Controllers (behalve één sysexdump commando o.i.d.).
