Jammer dat U-He geen RE's meer wil ontwikkelen. Hopelijk luisteren de Props naar hun third party ontwikkelaars en passen ze de SDK aan.

QUAD is the first Rack Extension synthesizer built from the ground up for Reason by the Rob Papen team.

It features two oscillators with a seemingly simple arsenal of classic waveforms. But the sonic palette is huge though, through the vast modulation possibilities that QUAD has to offer. Oscillator sound sculpting are the Phase Distortion and Wave Shaper. These tools are brought to life by four XY-Pads,which can be moved through an extensive modulation matrix. The movements can be recorded as automation directly into Reason’s sequencer.

QUAD’s oscillators are complemented by two top notch analogue modelled filters, an arpeggiator and two high quality effects processors.

Ziet er nice uit, maar nu vraag ik me af of je in Reason 8 in de sequencer ook zo'n vloeiende automation curves kunt tekenen (ik zit nog op Reason 7 en daar zijn enkel rechte lijnen mogelijk). Iemand hier al Reason 8?

Je kan R8 gewoon installen, je kan alleen geen songs laden als je geen licensie hebt.
Volgens mij kan je nog niet zulke curves tekenen nee, maar daar is al vaak wel om gevraagd, dus misschien met R9.

Mbt Quad decay env, Rob Papen zelf:

I noticed this on the 'release' already, that something was wrong but was so busy that I did forget to check the decay.

Now I am building a few Drum and Percussion sounds and notice... ooops....

Nasty bug, but solved very soon. Sorry for the error...I should have noticed before!!!!!!

By the way, the envelope decay is by error ´logarithm curve´ instead of ´expotential´.
So has nothing to do with poor design. It is simply the wrong curve.
Fixed soon and soundwise, the percussive sounds will sound better. No worries.

Weer een convolution module van numerical sound, en zoals gewoonlijk wordt ie weer flink bashed op het reason forum wegens gebrek aan laadmogelijkheden voor andere impulses en het gebrek aan extra tweakmogelijkheden. Daarnaast de max tijd van 2,5 sec vinden sommigen te kort voor lange reverbs. En de prijs natuurlijk .....
