RE 60 REAL TIME SPECTRUM ANALYSER
This 1/3rd octave spectrum analyzer is based on the GOST 17168-82 — Filters electrical octave and third-octave. General technical requirements and methods of testing. And also meets IEC804:1985 — Standard Specification for Integrating-averaging sound level meters.

Interface is modelled on classic DN60 spectrum analyzer by Klark Teknik, originally developed 1980.
Our plugin adds "high precision" filters and full frequency scale of GOST 17168-82 standard.

Betatest net begonnen.

Toen ik net een Ipad 1 had werd ik helemaal wild van nieuwe synth en audio apps... electribe, MS20, sunsynth, Beatmaker, Nanno studio, etc. etc. Ik heb er heel wat gekocht omdat de prijs relatief zo laag was.

Maar nu is de nieuwigheid bij de Ipad eraf en is de markt overspoeld met dit soort apps. Dat vind ik nou ook met die Rack Extensions, leuk dat er steeds meer bijkomt, maar als je straks terugkijkt eigenlijk niks bijzonders. Alles is al te krijgen in VST, RE maakt een inhaalslag. Misschien kan je je beter afvragen wat er nog niet is, i.p.v. andersom?

Ik vind het allemaal vooral leuke eye candy, sowieso vind ik Reason er wel fris uitzien.

Toen ik net een Ipad 1 had werd ik helemaal wild van nieuwe synth en audio apps... electribe, MS20, sunsynth, Beatmaker, Nanno studio, etc. etc. Ik heb er heel wat gekocht omdat de prijs relatief zo laag was.

Maar nu is de nieuwigheid bij de Ipad eraf en is de markt overspoeld met dit soort apps. Dat vind ik nou ook met die Rack Extensions, leuk dat er steeds meer bijkomt, maar als je straks terugkijkt eigenlijk niks bijzonders. Alles is al te krijgen in VST, RE maakt een inhaalslag. Misschien kan je je beter afvragen wat er nog niet is, i.p.v. andersom?

Ik vind het allemaal vooral leuke eye candy, sowieso vind ik Reason er wel fris uitzien.

Inhaalslag gaat best goed vind ik ! Binnen 6 maanden kan ik bijna alles wat ik ook in vst kon (behalve dingen als Mashtastic). Daarnaast kan je dingen met RE's en reason die je nooit met vst's kan zoals de cv connecties onderling modules. Ik denk dat je ze niet moet vergelijken, qua geluidskwaliteit is RE binnen no time al gelijk aan vst, dat verschil hoor ik nogal sinds we RE's in onze nummers gebruiken (EQ, dynamische controllers, reverbs, synths).

Ios apps was ik binnen 3 maanden op uitgekeken door het vervelende touchscreenm beperkte ram/hd/cpu, maar dat had ook te maken met dat RE's toen kwamen

Uit Viking komen wel vette bassen, maar welke idioot heeft beslist om die synth monofoon te maken (ja, de echte Minimoog Voyager is ook monofoon, maar dit is software dus kan toch eenvoudig polyfoon gemaakt worden). Antidote kan ook zeer vette bassen maken, en nog zoveel meer (goeie fx, een leuke arpeggiator, ...).

Viking is een gemiste kans door zijn beperkingen.

Nou, daar komt dus een oplossing voor !!!

The Measure is a sophisticated metering and measurement tool that allows you to visually analyze your audio signal in several useful ways.
Too loud mixes often sound squashed, and in long mixing sessions your ears often get used to the squashed sound so you´re losing objectivity.
The Measure will show you Peak and RMS values of your mixes, phase correlation between Left and Right and the number of Overs. When working with a stereo signal, choose Sum/Diff mode to make sure there is no energy drop in the sum which could be caused by phasing problems and that the difference (diff) is not too low compared to the sum.

Vraagje, waarom zijn ze in Reason zo geil van "CV" ? Ik zie alleen maar CV "modulair" plugins verschijnen ? Om outputs met een "dingetje" te moduleren (arp, filter, midi note shuffle etc etc) zit er standaard geen midi modulator in Reason? Of is virtueel "modulair" gewoon hip?

CV is één van de basiselementen van Reason.

Je hoeft het niet altijd te gebruiken, want je kan ook simpele midi dingen koppelen via een combinator. Voor de uitgebreidere routings is cv wel essentieel en kan je dingen bouwen die met standaard midi vst's amper tot meestal niet mogelijk zijn. En het nerd gehalte natuurlijk zal ook veel mensen bekoren. Net als mensen die real life modulaire systemen hebben, jwt.

In principe zijn alle modules in reason modulair met CV, behalve als de ontwikkelaar niet de moeite heeft genomen die functionaliteit in te bouwen (zoals de dcam dynamische controllers).

Hetzelfde geldt voor automation, in principe zijn alle knoppen te automaten, behalve als de ontwikkelaar heeft gekozen bepaalde parameters niet te kunnen laten automaten (wat zelden gebeurt, maar wel voorkomt zoals met de PX7).
