The Pearl Drum X is an analog drum synthesizer, very easy to program, the sounds are wonderfull, very powerfull and warm, the output is very clear and without noise, attack transients are fast and well defined, this is a real beast ! great for electronic music! Also if this unit is not midi equipped you can trigger all the sounds by using a normal drum machine with separate outputs ( i use a modded roland TR 606 ), and when you'll realise that each one of these 5 instruments has exactly the same synthesis structure you'll be surprised by ow many different sound you can obtain just with 8 parameter per instrument !!!! A great and powerfull machine.
