Non-booting Nord Micro Modular

Heya,
My Micro Modular decided to not power up anymore. I was wondering if any of you have fixed one successfully in the past or should I just get a "new" one? Is this a manufacturing issue or did I just have bad luck? I took a look inside and it's quite packed tight so I'd like to know something before fumbling around..

By not powering up you mean no sign of life at all? Because then it also could be that the power supply is broken?

Try a different adaptor. Maybe it's broken. You can get a universal adaptor for around € 15 at your local handyman store

Thanks for your replies. I tried with another PSU with no luck, I should've mentioned that. I was mainly wondering if it's just a stray bad sheep of an unit or if it's something others might've encountered on the micro and thus might help with problem solving. Thanks for the link Synthfraek, I might just send it over there

The PSU plug of the micro mod has reversed polarity compared to say Roland/boss stuff. And the original PSU gets very warm so its lifespan will be relatively short.
