Hi,
Up for sale is a rare pearl sc 40 drumcomputer which is unlike any other drumsynth around!It sounds extremely well and is based
on 1 cycle waveforms followed by a double analogue signal pad to shape the sounds to your taste...(for sound demos check stereoping website!)
Actually I bought one of my three units from him for 450 euros some years ago and that is the starting price as I would like to see
my money back for it but I think its worth the price as I have seen them go for more than 600 euros!!
Have three and two have to go...one I keep cause it is VERY SPECIAL
he specs:
The "40" means it can produce 4 sounds at once (not 40 ? no, only 4)
Although it has 4 voices there are 8 Pad-Slots
each Pad can be fired by a 6.3 mm -jack trigger-in OR (have a seat) .. MIDI (although it tends to hangup when fired with extensive data)
each Pad has (if you like) an individual out or goes to the sum-out
each Voice is made of: 1 digital Wavegenerator and Noise, 2 Bandpassfilters and 4 Envelopegenerators, see blockdiagram to the right. You can tweak the 'tone' and the 'attack'-part separately and set the balance of both.
The 32 waveforms sound like cheap 12 bit samples with a loopphase. Some sound like sine or a chime or a gong.
you can store (!) 4 x 8 Banks, each with 8 Pad-Parametersets (=Sounds)
