microKontrol & RM1x

Hi everybody,
I apologize if I do not write in Dutch, I hope it is not a problem.
I bought a microKontrol in order to be able to control a RM1x but after several times I checked the manuals I am still not able to work it out.
In the microKontrol there are 16 pads, i would like to use them to trigger the 16 pads in the RM1x, those one that are triggering the 16 tracks or sections.
Is there anybody who has the knowledge to help me?

I presume you plugged in the MIDI properly? It should be a breeze.

well it is just a midi cable, can not be wrong
I thought as well it should be easy but I can not figure out how to do it
if anybody has an idea please let me know
