I making studio right now....And I need to ask you for tips....

What do you suggest me to buy??? I am a begginer....and I produce hardcore/darkcore.....and I need to know which synth should I buy ( Access virus c ), what drum synth, etc...

I have p4 2.0 , 512 DDR ram, Audigy 2, I connected my card with newest Sony HIFI ( 2x120W + subwoofer )....
I use FL Studio 4.1.2 + PRO-53 + Absynth 2 + Albino + Junglist + Waldorf Attack + Predatohm + QuadFrohmage + etc....

I decided to buy real studio....so that's why need a little bit pro help!!! But not too expensive....I only decide that I am going to buy synth virus c...and for rest stuff I need help!!!

You dont have much money. Tell us you budget because otherwise it makes no sense. Or if your plan is to buy at night at your local musicstore,My advise you should at least take the most expensive gear.

Maby reason or the access virus c and a sampler.

you might wanna buy a studio amplifier with decent monitors (speakers) because a sony HIFI isn't ideal to mastermix on..

With that money you can buy decent stuff mate, But maby is easyer for you to look at

I should buy.

-a pair good monitors.
-a couple of synths,access,waldorf....allround roland module.
-a nice digital mixer
-a big fat sampler for sampling en ofcourse drums or you could take a Machinedrum etc...
-some fx gear or proccesing gear.
-a fat mac G5 with 2or1 22inch monitors
-maby some furniture for your studio( acoustic)
-a mic

fill me in.

give the man a break..

a basic setup in my humble opinion concist of

a. a mixer (yamaha, soundcraft, mackie, etc for connection mutliple devices - audio)
b. synthesizer(S)
c. midi interface (for connecting multiple devices - data)
d. perhaps a sampler or a good pc (device for loading wav,aiff,etc)
d. perhaps some outboard effects (you could also do this on a pc)

anyway, you can make it as cheap or as expensive as you want. in my opinion.. don't spend to much money at first and start with a synthesizer and start learning about making music and studio stuff..

With that kind of money you can buy enough....

Some tips :

- Access Virus
- Roland Tr-909
- Good Monitor speakers ( Mackie HR-824 or something like that...)
- Good Mixer ( Soundcraft Ghost or Mackie )
- PC with good soundcard
- Fx machines ( TC electronic or Lexicon )
- ...and more...

Why do you have so much money to spend ? Did you finally get a record-deal ?
