oke, doen we the clown erbij, das ook een erg goeie.

En wat dacht je van out for lunch?? (die is toch ook van eric dolphy??)

Ook erg goed, inderdaad. En er is nog een prestige double elpee (verzamelaar denk ik) met een
paar tracks met cello d'r bij. Ooit eens gehoord maar nooit meer terug gevonden.

En Roland (Rahsaan) Kirk, met meerdere rieten tegelijk zien stunten is ook leuk.
En de "Symbiosis" elpee van Bill Evans met een groot symphonisch werk; meesterlijke pianist trouwens
met die suggererende voicings.

Er is veel goede jazz onder de mensen, toch sterven zij en zijn ongelukkig.

Leuk detail:
Op de wat oudere platenhoezen van Queen staat zelfs vermeld dat nergens synths gebruikt werden. En ja, mij kan dat ook zeer wel bekoren.

Trouwens dat geldt ook voor klassiek en met name J.S. Bach. 10 jaar les daarin is voor mij een heel stevig fundament voor alles wat ik doe op synths tegenwoordig.

Maar ik mag graag naar neofolk luisteren. Dingen als Death in june, Forseti, Of the wand and the moon, Sonne hagal, Dies Natalis en zo. Ook veel schuimbekkende punk, crustpunk, grindcore en black metal. Leuk hoor.

Tom Waits staat bij mij toch wel op nummer 1.
De laatste tijd luister ik veel Astrud Gilberto, Phyllis Dillon, Susan Cadogan, jaja het zonnetje schijnt weer.
Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Leadbelly, Robert Johnson, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, eigenlijk zit ik nu maar wat willekeurige dingen op te noemen want de lijst is inderdaad erg lang.
Ik ga ook steeds meer Jazz waarderen, vooral het soort wat Jules Deelder draait.

En nog veeeeel meeeeeerrrrrr... in bijna alle stijlen... zucht... muziek... er is zoveel van, en zoveel goeds, zo frustrerend, een mensenleven is te kort om het allemaal te ontdekken en beluisteren...

Sinds een paar maandjes helemaal weg van muziek van : Ernest Ranglin

Een gitaarspeler uit jamaica van wie de muziek door de jaren heen steeds béter is geworden.

Heerlijke crossovers tussen reggae en ska soul jazz en 'african' styles maar dan gewoon echt heel erg lekker gespeeld!

In recent years, Ernest Ranglin has gone back to his roots and has made various cross cultural collaborations and concept albums. On Below the Bassline he covers some of the greatest songs of the rock and roll era. Memories of Barber Mack is Ernest Ranglin's tribute to the late Jamaican saxophonist Barber Mack. The Search of the Lost Riddim album took Ernest Ranglin to Senegal for his first visit since the mid 1970's when he toured as part of the Jimmy Cliff band. These recording sessions represent the accomplishment of a dream he had cherished for over 20 years: returning to Africa to record with African musicians. Modern Answers to Old Problems is an adventuresome mix of jazz sophistication and Afro-pop syncopation, and finaly his last album Gotcha! shows what a perfect instrumentalist Ernest realy is.
