Hallo,
Ik heb sindskort een M-Audio Quattro, en het installeren geeft nogal wat problemen. Ik heb er even geluid uit gehad, maar dat was snel over. Ik heb m getest op Traktor DJ van Native Instrumenst en bij het kiezen van AUDIO opties kwam ik de Quattro meerdere keren tegen ( als Quattro, Quattro 1, Quattro 2 en 3) Ik had het vermoeden dat ik hem meerdere keren geinstalleerd had. Toen ik op de website van M-Audio de driver Quattro 2002 USB WEB waren deze andere Quattro's weg, en bleef alleen de Quattro (normaal) over. Toch krijg ik geen geluid meer uit de boxen. Toen ik andere AUDIO software installeerde en activeerde kreeg ik de melding dat ik geen ASIO drivers heb. Nu heb is alles geprobeert, ook de XPPostinstaller (werkt niet) maar ik kom er niet uit. Ik heb een email gestuurd naar M-audio Support deze plak ik hier even bij. Maar als er Quattro gebruikers zijn, die me Nederlandstalig kunnen helpen. zou ik daar gezegend mee zijn. Mijn Technisch engels is niet zo denderend. Alvast bedankt.

Saturday August the 21, I bought the M-Audio Quattro USB. I’m planning to use it on Traktor DJ manufactured by Native Instruments. Following the installation manual, I first let XP search for drivers, that went ok. Later when XP prompted for driver search I included the driver CD in the search. Also that went OK.
But still I don’t have any sound. The problem is, that when I try to run the Xppostinstaller, it doesn’t react.
So I think I don’t have any ASIO drivers installated on my system.
I can find M-AUDIO USB Quattro WDM and VXD, because when I remove the Quattro safely I see those two. But no ASIO.
If I start up Traktor DJ and go to the setup AUDIO options, I can choose the following options
Windows MME wavemapper
MME M-AUDIO Quattro
MME Soundmax digital AUDIO
Direct X soundinterface
M-AUDIO quattro DX
Also no ASIO
This is what the M-Audio toolbar shows:
4 in, 4 out, 16 bit, 48/44.1/22.05/11.025khz

This is what the M-Audio USB Configuration manager shows:

I already visited the M-AUDIO website for drivers. And copied the instructions for Quattro instalation. I dindn’t find the driver 1.28 cr 5.
So instead of that I downloaded the Quattro 2002 USB WEB and installed it. Still I do not have ASIO drivers.
