We are now proud to present finally the long awaited M5 Analogue Synthesizer! We have all the circuitry tested and designed and are ready to manufacture!
It's a fantastic synth!.............and features the following:
3 Voltage Controlled Oscillators- they go Low Frequency too!... 2 LFOs with separate Rate controls as well as a Master Rate control...2 Voltage Controlled Filters- The main filter is of the 24dB/Octave Self-Oscillating Transistor Ladder type and the second, 'Utility' Filter is a 12dB/Octave State Variable type that features Low pass, High Pass, Band Pass and Notch responses. There are 2 ADSR Envelope Generators for sweeping the Filters, Oscillators, Panning etc- yes, there is Voltage Controlled Panning on the Output Stage!- and Spring Line Reverberation! The ADSR EGs feature 3 different timing ranges- Short, Normal and Long...There is of course a precision Ring Modulator for creating alsorts of clangourous tones and timbres! There is a Noise Generator giving outputs of White, Pink and Low Frequency Noise.......there is a lot of stuff going on here!...lots of sliders, rotary controls and patch sockets! The beauty of the M5 design is that you do not need patch cords to operate....most of it is pre-patched!...but should you wish to break out!...well you can, any routings can be over-ridden, interfaced...transmogrified!
