Een volle track met video deze keer. Lekker om het weekeinde af te trappen: "The future is wild!" van "Listening for hope".
Enjoy, forumgenoten!

To kick off the weekend, here's the music video for 'The future is wild!'
Full track this time, taken from 'Listening for hope'. This video features great footage by Marc Espejo. I tried to put some 'joie de vivre', joy of life, in the music but with a little caution and trepidation, since the future is "wild", that is to say: unbound, unpredictable and full of possibilities. Not set. However, it also comes and flows from the past, so certain things áre set; motions from which the future must needs flow.
The energetic footage of the dancing spider men, their playful interaction juxtaposed with the other, more philosophical shots went together very well.
The track itself is an energetic piece of prog-rock breakbeat with a little touch of retro late 80's, some 90's techno sounds, screaming guitars, dirty synths and a beat that sets the mood for breakdancing.
The idea is to propel the train of thought while listening to the album ('Listening for hope') from the contemplative to the active.
Enjoy this video and remember: the future is WILD!
