This new 19 inch version is a Ion and more, with a larger display, more presets and 6 Analog Outputs.
The Ion-R has 3 oscillators with continuously variable wave-shapes, multiple flavors of FM and oscillator sync. 16 types of filters are available - and any 2 can be used simultaneously in series, parallel, or stereo configurations. External signals can be brought in through the balanced, 24-bit analog inputs and morphed through the filters, effects and 40-band vocoder.
The ergonomics user interface feels revolutionary. begging to be grabbed, tweaked and PLAYED, the controls are spaced comfortably for easy access on the fly. The 30 infinitely adjustable control knobs - on high-resolution pots, not encoded - have a smooth, responsive feel. The large 220x200 graphic LCD presents a simple and intuitive navigation system, making the ION a joy to program.
