Ervaringen Virus TI

hoewel de ti desktop vaak met 4 parts ook al wel noten overslaat hoor als je een beetje dikke patches maak.
 
Hoi,

Heb al gheel wat pagina`s gelezen in deze treat maar kon mijn antwoord niet vinden. Dus bij deze mijn vraag:

Ik gebruik Cubase 5.5 i.c.m. de Virus Ti. Nu kan ik als ik op F11 druk en de virus laat alle drie de USB uitgangen kiezen. Echter kan ik er alleen maar 2 gebruiken. Namelijk uitgang 1 en 2. Uitgang 3 staat wel in de virus control aangegeven maar kan niet worden geselecteerd.

Hoe kan ik dit oplossen?
 
Dat kan ik dus niet selecteren. Zo uit m`n hoofd word USB output grijs weergegeven en de rest gewoon zwart. Zal er anders vanavond wel even een screenshot van maken.

Ik heb natuurlijk wel bij dat wat je met F11 (VST instrument?) oproept alle 3 USB porten aangevinkt!

ja juist omdat je niet al je outputs hebt aangemaakt in de configuratie
je moet configuratie met 3 outputs aanmaken in laatste tab (rechtsboven gui)
 
Wat ik me al lang af vraag: kan je het geluid van een Virus TI via USB simultaan gebruiken met de inputs van een (Firewire) audio interface?
Of moet je de Virus en de audio interface apart gebruiken?

DAW: Cubase 5.5.2
 
Bedankt voor jullie hulp. Wat bedoelen jullie precies met 'rechtsboven gui'?

hallo mensen...

Ik heb een virus ti 2 desktop maar wil graag multi output gebruiken kan dat??

Ik wil dus voor alle 16 midi kanalen een apart spoor zodat ik alle geluiden aparte compressors etc etc kan mee geven.

Ik hoop dat iemand me kan helpen...

Je hebt 'maar' maximaal 3 outputs tot je beschikking. Je zult moeten bouncen.

edit : heel verhaal is niet nodig , ik ga gewoon weer verder zoals altijd in cubase , ook zonder latency ,want had in het project onder FL wel degelijk latency.
Ik loop alleen steeds tegen een probleem aan sinds ik vanmiddag mijn Virus heb aangelosten op de pc , ik krijg vaak de melding TBIA " de gegevens zijn ongeldig"
En ik heb steeds vastlopers met cubase en die had ik ook in FL.

Kan dat te maken hebben omdat de Virus ti zit aangesloten op de pc usb port die word gedeelt met toetsenbord etc. Ik heb dit probleem namelijk nog nooit hiervoor gehad.

Dit schijnt het uiteindelijk dus te wezen;

Access Music has announced a new feature update to the Virus TI series of synthesizers. OS4.5 focuses on new vintage effect emulations and additions to the modulation matrix:

Vintage Chorus. The new chorus was modeled after one of the nicest and most famous choruses built in the late '70s. The flexible subset of parameters allows seamless "morphing" from one emulation to another without having to change the algorithm and therefore stop the sound. It's a great addition to the TI's sound engine making it really easy to emulate the famous chorus ensemble sound found in many productions back from '70s and '80s.

Air Chorus. The air chorus is based on creating the Chorus effect in the air, right in between the speakers. In difference to many other chorus effects, it works more subtly and opens the stereo panorama up in a more natural and less intrusive way.

Vibrato. Especially when you don't want to waste an LFO to create a vibrato effect, the new algorithm comes in handy.

Rotary speaker emulation. Emulating a classic Leslie effect, the new rotary speaker emulation offers the usual controls such as a fast/slow setting in combination with creative controls such as microphone distance to add air and space to sounds as well as a crossover setting which allows you to limit the effect to a certain frequency range. You can animate the top end of a pad sound and leave the bottom end untouched.

New sources have been added to the modulation matrix allowing to add further "analog" feeling to pretty much any parameter available within the over 100 modulation destinations. Access claims that this intelligent and pattern-based unsteadiness enables the Virus TI to cover a wide range of those beloved analog side effects known from slightly damaged or simply poorly engineered vintage synths.

OS4.5 is compatible with the entire Virus TI line including the first versions back from 2005.

In onderstaand filmpje legt Ben Crossland de chorus updates nog even uit, maar ook de updates aan de modmatrix worden ook toegelicht (vanaf 7:00)

lol, ik zie een preset van me staan ;-)

en btw, wat een vette os update. Ik denk dat er met de messe nieuwe hardware getoond gaat worden. ik hoop dan op een virus tif: Total Integration Final ;-) met niet maar 25% extra power, maar eerder 250%. Zodat ik geen andere synths meer nodig heb.
