todaysart is the annual international multidisciplinary modern creativity festival in The Hague.

The festival offers a programme at 20 venues (in- and outdoor) in the city centre with more than 200 artists from over 25 countries, all presenting their creative vision about what Art is Today in terms of music, video and visual arts, film, photography, fashion, performing arts, theatre, contemporary dance and other disciplines and crossovers.
Expect unique and custom-made productions and performances by the world's most creative artists.

The forward-thinking TodaysArt festival in the Hague, which takes place on September 22 and 23 has just announced some of the first names of their program. Amongst it are The Orb, Thomas Brinkmann, Venetian Snares and Unit Moebius.

The complete list announced so far:

Friday 22-09: Underground Resistance, Interstellar Fugitives, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Mike Banks, UR dj's, Serge, Unit Moebius, H.O.T.T., Nothing Done, Kubus & Bang Bang,, C-Mon & Kypski, Nobody Beats the Drums.

Saturday 23-09: The Orb, Akufen, Venetian Snares, Otto von Schirach, Pure, FFF, Ladyscraper, Jason Forrest, the Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave, Club Transmediale Wasted, Gudrun Gut, Chica Paula, Daniel Meteo, Thomas Brinkmann, Legowelt, Schneider TM, Jacque de la Disque, TLR, Overdose, Orgue Electronique, Legowelt, Bodenstandig 2000, Stöma.

Godskolere wat ben ik blij dat (ik wordt geeeeek) underground Resistance, Interstellar Fugitives, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Mike Banks, UR dj's, Serge, Unit Moebius (?!!), op vrijdag komen. Die zaterdag draait namelijk Stacey Pullen, net zo'n grootheid, in de 11 op een Planet Delsin feest. Moet alleen op zaterdag vanaf 8.00 uur werken..Ach, twee uurtjes slapen, meer dan genoeg :gaap:
 
Hier ga ik in ieder geval wel heen. Unit Moebius maakt toch al een hele tijd niets meer? Was wel goede muziek.

Het is dus in club 11, boven het tijdelijke onderkomen van het stedelijk museum in A'dam. Vlak bij centraal. Met deejays: Stacey Pullen, Raymon Hollander, Tim Nieburg, Peel Seamus. Het zal een Detroit techno avond worden lijkt mij zo. Als je van techno houdt en het Delsin label niet kent, zou ik het zeker even gaan uitchecken bij de betere platenboer. Aanraders qua albums: Find the cow van Aardvarck, de 'going thru life' verzamelaar, alien artform van Dimension 5. $tinkworx: ain't-chit history, dynarec: user input.
 
CHAOS EATS INTERSTELLAR FUGITIVES, PERFORMANCE CANCELLED
Order and Chaos - two universal forces from before the beginning of time. Each force exerts itself in our lives, sometimes for the positive, sometimes for the negative. We don’t have the luxury of deciding when and how each is going to manifest in our lives, no matter how much we try to fight and/or control either. Nobody is exempt, case in point – the Interstellar Fugitives. Internal and external forces caused a breakdown of that band by key members, causing not only pain and chaos in the lives of the individuals who make up the Fugitives, but for the promoters, fans, and others, who were looking forward to our live show at MUTEK. But here’s the thing…


…this is life. As much as we want to control how things turn out, as much as we want to “make things right”, we also have to sometimes accept that personal demons are no joke, fights break out, things get said, or circumstances arise and you have no say in the matter. All you can do is pick yourself off the ground and continue walking. You may say to yourself, “This will NEVER happen again!” but the reality is, you can never say that for certain. The universe doesn’t bow down to your will, but that also doesn't mean you give up entirely. So all of us, current and former bandmates and others, will continue moving forward, working to pick up the pieces and create new bands and shows, and providing you with the best we have to give. This is not the end, but the beginning.

Ik heb de Season Mix gehoord, die was erg goed. Ik moet eens kijken of er al een nieuwe uit is.

Freekie! jazeker, ik zweer bij dit forum. Meer heb je niet nodig. Maar ja, we zijn idd met z'n drieen geloof ik. Maar maakt niet uit, volgens mij gaat het heel gezellig worden en de line up is n iet verkeerd vind ik. Veel halve liters zwerverspils, naturally. Dagelijks een medium sized paddo steeltje..? Heb er zin in! Zie je vrijdag.
