Up for auction is one of the rarest pieces of Simmons gear ever - an SDS-6 Drum Sequencer in perfect functioning condition. These units are inherently buggy, so to find one in this condition that actually works is a rarity in itself! This came out as a way to trigger the SDS-V (and other analog drum synths) without having to use the Simmons pads. Very cool and intuitive L.E.D. matrix interface allows you to pick the row (drum) and column (beat) either in real-time, or by punching rows and column buttons while stopped.
Very cool and easy to come up with unique drum patterns to store for later use - and very easy to visualize! The last one I saw on eBay sold for nearly $1000 and it wasn’t working. This one works perfectly and is in excellent condition. Includes AC power cord. I do have the manual, but I have misplaced it, so if I can find that, it will come with the unit. A very rare piece. Don’t miss your chance to own this rare unit!
