En ik had nu net een ticket naar de UK geboekt om de prophet te gaan halen.
Ik heb ook altijd pech

Ik heb het mailtje ook gehad. Ik had speurders namelijk zelf al gemaild dat ik de advertentie niet vertrouwde en gevraagd of ze de advertentie konden verwijderen. Niet iedereen zit op het synthforum namelijk en sommige mensen zijn zo ontzettend stom dat je de advertentie beter weg kunt laten halen in de hoop dat deze idioot geen slachtoffers maakt.
Overigens moet het voor speurders toch niet zo moeilijk zijn dit tegen te gaan.
Allereerst moeten ze geen gratis email adressen meer accepteren zoals hotmail, gmail en nog wat van dit soort email domeinen.
Ten tweede zouden ze moeten kijken van welk IP adres een mailtje afkomstig is.
Op speurders lijkt het mij tamelijk onwaarschijnlijk dat er veel buitenlanders (hooguit een Belg) zullen adverteren. Accepteer dus alleen IP adressen uit Nederland en Belgie. Da's heel makkelijk te doen en het houdt alle buitenlanders buiten. Waterdicht is het systeem niet, maar het is in ieder geval een eerste barriere. Eigen volk eerst

Na zo'n antwoord weet je als Trekkie en synthliefhebber genoeg lijkt me.
Wel geinig om die gast toch een beetje bezig gehouden te hebben.

Hi Jean-Luc,

I'm glad to inform you that the Prophet 10 is still available. I can tell you the previous owner always used this instrument in a smoke and thalaron radiotion free room.
The good thing is the rare saucer section is also available but maybe you have to change the voltage to Dutch.
The prophet sounds great and the sound isn't influenced by any spatial anolamies. It also has lot of other great effects.
The battery has been replaced recently so there's no problem with the warp core. There are no defects.

You can pick it up and when you stay 10 days we can do a C.O.D. transaction.
We are located in Runcorn, Cheshire.

But before we can do the transaction I have a few important questions.
First of all there is an extra module available for the prophet 10. This rare module is very hard to get and hopefully you sell your prophet 10 with this rare extra module called the "saucer section". The saucer section is a "must have" option for me and for a complete module I'm willing to pay an extra 250 euro's.

I design a lot of sounds to produce Klingon opera. Therefore I require a working memory section. Unfortunately many prophets suffer from bad and leaking batteries causing warp core breeches. As you undoubtly know those are quite hard to fix once they occur. Can you tell me the battery has been replaced in time and the prophet 10 is free from any warp core breeches?

Another problem you often see with this instrument, is a problem with the flux capacitor. These are usaualy caused by unskilled handling of the Romulan disruptor section in this synth. Is the flux capacitor working?

The last question I have is about the previous owner. Did he handle the instrument with care? I don't want an instrument that has been used in rooms with smoke or thalaron radiation. Thalaron is so hard to remove once it has poluted your synth.

Hopefully you can answer my questions and we can do business soon.
The last deal in England I did with a Ferengi, so I have great confidence in English deals.

Nog wel ff een serieuze vraag. Is elke prophet 10 met twee klavieren gelijk aan twee prophet 5's rev. 3?

Ik heb e.e.a. gelezen over de prophet 10 en zover ik begrepen heb is er voor productie nogal wat geexperimenteerd met 1 klavier en twee klavieren. Volgens mij is die eerste nooit in productie genomen vanwege hitte problemen. Van de prophet 10's waren een aantal prototypes niet zo stabiel en is de uiteindelijke productie dus gelijk aan de rev3 van de prophet 5. Klopt die info? kun je stellen dat elke prophet 10 een dubbele prophet 5 rev 3 is?
