E-MU PIPEline Digital Wireless Transmitter and
Receiver System
High-quality, low latency, stereo Wi-Fi system for musicians. PIPEline has been designed to free musicians from their audio cables without sacrifcing audio quality. A PIPEline system can be used to wirelessly transmit your guitar, keyboard, or any stereo signal around the stage or studio. It can even be used as the basis of a wireless In-Ear stage monitoring system for a band. Because latency is so critical in music performance, PIPEline has a minimal delay of only 6.6 ms, so it won't interfere with the feel of the music. A PIPEline'd musician can move anywhere within a 15 meter (49 feet) range from the receiver or transmitter.
Each PIPEline unit can operate as either a transmitter or receiver, and can handle either digital or analog signals using the Flexi-Jacks on the rear. A PIPEline system can also support the transmission of up to three independent stereo channels, which means that three instruments can transmit independently with zero crosstalk. The built-in rechargeable battery will give you wireless freedom for up to 10 hours in receive mode and 5 hours in transmit mode.
The PIPEline has both analog and digital 48kHz S/PDIF I/O capability and delivers 96dB signal-to-noise ratio of uncompressed audio. The product comes with connector cables, a universal power supply, and a silicon skin with belt/strap clip. PIPEline units will soon be available for sale at your favorite retailer and from the E-MU webstore.
