1) What is the difference between the "V1" , "V2" Drumstations & the new D-Station
Older V1 Drumstations can have older software. The latest OS is 1.3. Most older Drumstations will have this fitted. All D-Stations will automatically have this fitted. Check this by powering the Drumstation up while holding down the Audition button. The display will show the OS version. (13 = OS version 1.3).
If the OS version of a V1 Drumstation is 1.3 then the only difference between the V1 & V2 Drumstation is THE BOX. That's it. Electronically and operationally these units are identical.
