Hello,
I have a shitty problem syncing my TR 707 to ableton.
My setup: Connected TR 707 midi IN to midi OUT of my Sapphire USB. The TR 707 is running in pattern mode.
In session view, syncing goes well, the drum computer nicely follows ableton, no problems. In arrangement view, syncing works as long as I start playing my track from the beginning. As soon as I move the 'cursor' to anywhere in the track and start from there, the drum computer is confused and doesn't start from the beginning any more, the speed is the same as ableton but it doesn't play synced.
What I researched so far lead me to the fact that ableton ALWAYS sends out MIDI clock signals (not just sync) and my TR 707 gets confused by those as soon when I 'jump' around in the track.
This is really irritating as I like finishing my tracks in arrangement. Is there anybody who can help me???
