Nord modular G2 Engine - USB kapot

Hoi
Ik heb een Nord Modular G2 waarvan het USB-board het begeven heeft.
Maakt dus geen connectie meer met de host-computer. Blijkt een vaker voorkomend probleem...
Ik vroeg me af of hier het iemand al was tegengekomen en hoe het is opgelost?

Misschien even eerst vaststellen of het wel het USB-board van de G2 is dat het niet meer doet ... of de host computer.

Waarschijnlijk kan je dat snel vaststellen door de G2 even op een andere PC aan te sluiten en als ook daar via USB niets gebeurt dan zal je het inderdaad moeten zoeken bij jouw G2 zelf.

Ik ken niets van electronica (misschien is zoiets eenvoudig te herstellen) maar alvast veel succes met de herstelling.

Op het E-M forum vond ik dit als antwoord, mocht je lokale muziekwinkel het niet kunnen:

which is what is on the G2X, and I have removed the boards and removed the broken USB port from the board. Now I just need to wait a few days, and then hopefully fix this thing. Notice the price is quite a bit less that what you were quoted. I'm hoping these also fit the Yamaha S90.

See if you can get yours apart and figure out the type of port. If it looks like one of those, let me know and I'll send you one. Oh, and obviously this is only going to work if the port is broken, which is what I think is wrong with mine (the plastic bit in the centre had broken off). If there is a problem with the board then I'm afraid this is not going to help.

yeps. Ze hebben er een nieuwe usb-poort ingestoken, end daarmee was het verholpen...
