Hello,
I'm about to buy a pack of MoPADs to both isolate and angle my monitors at my ears. Now I've seen these two pictures of a pair of MoPADs:
1. http://www.auralex.com/sound_isolation_mopad/MP.jpg
2. http://www.auralex.com/gallery/images/mp_3.jpg
I assume these are both the same MoPADs, but I do notice a difference in the thickness of the back of the base (second picture). This extra thickness angles the monitor, just the way I want to angle mine. But this thickness in the back of the base cannot be seen/found in the first picture. Did you glue extra base material on top of the original MoPADs to reach this thickness-effect?
I'm wondering about this since I also want to angle my monitors exactly the same way as in the second picture. I'm using Mackie's HR824's by the way.
Many thanks in advance,

Dear Ad,
Thank you for considering Auralex products for your acoustical needs. The MoPADs come in a bundle of four (4) "pads." Each "pad" includes two pieces: a base and a wedge. The base is the bulk of what you see in the pics. The wedge piece is not so obvious; it is the piece that allows you to either place the monitors flat or angled at up to ±8°. I wish I could describe it better, but It will be very self-explanatory when you get your MoPADs.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
