By turning off the GM Parts Switch, the oscilloscope (which is related to the GM sound engine) will also be disabled.

Additionally, to prevent the internal sound engine from being triggered by the keyboard, you can disable the Local Switch. To do this:

1. Hold down the CANCEL/SHIFT button.
2. Press the CENTER CANCEL button.

Rustig Nap: vergissing met Roland Gaia 2.

Ik ben heeeeeeel rustig, maar het ziet eruit alsof je het standaard AI antwoord van Google hebt gecopy-paste waar niet veel van lijkt te kloppen. Zo kan ik veel van de genoemde knoppen ook niet terugvinden op een foto van de Gaia. En lijkt het me onwaarschijnlijk dat je display controls regelt via de General Midi instellingen, of dat die überhaupt iets met elkaar te maken hebben. Die Google AI is meestal niet erg goed (waarschijnlijk gebruiken ze voor de search engine een 'licht' model om computertijd en energiegebruik in de hand te houden gezien de enorme hoeveelheid requests), zeker niet met dit soort specialistische dingen. Dus het loont om kritisch te zijn op de output en deze eerst te checken.

edit: ik zie net dat iemand boven mij al deze tip had gegeven... heb het net uitgeprobeerd op mijn Gaia 2 en dit werkt.
